Pop Art Matchboxes, Sassy Quote Notebooks & Bougie Bedazzled Gifts You Can Make Today
This tutorial is a full craft session packed with quick, giftable projects that look like they belong in a boutique but cost almost nothing to make. Everything is built from items you either printed for free off the Internet or grabbed from Walmart, Amazon, and Temu for a few dollars.
The video starts with bedazzled pop art matchboxes — a $1.99 box of matches from Walmart, a pop art postcard from Temu or Shein, Tim Holtz "Small Talk" stickers with funny sayings, rhinestone trim in AB crystal, and a hit of Stickles glitter glue on the edges. The whole thing takes minutes and makes the kind of gift that people keep on their counter forever. The tutorial also covers a Chanel-inspired version with a perfume bottle print, black-and-white stripes, and four rows of adhesive rhinestone sheet wrapped around the sides.
Next up is decorated vegetable cans turned into sassy brush holders or bathroom containers. Paint the can white (or line it with white copy paper first), print a sassy quote on sticker paper, stick it down in one shot, and finish with rhinestone trim and Stickles around the words. The tutorial shows how to search Google Images for free quotes (just type "sarcastic quotes," hit the Images tab, and print), and why sticker paper eliminates all the bubble and decoupage drama.
The designer-inspired notebooks use pleather fabric from Ming Fabric Store, cut to size and applied with Tandy leather double-sided tape. The tape sticks immediately and holds strong — no glue mess, no drying time. Finish with rhinestone trim, a bezel with a cropped logo, and Stickles on the lettering. The video covers both Louis Vuitton–style and Chanel-style versions, with tips on using colored Sharpies to touch up exposed white edges.
There's also a segment on diamond art coasters (6-pack kits on Amazon, all adhesive, no glue — just pick up and place while watching TV), pearl art kits ($9.95 on Amazon), and a jaw-dropping bedazzled camo jacket made by transferring a pearl art design onto a $15 Goodwill Old Navy jacket using transfer paper. The juxtaposition of camo with pearls and rhinestones is something you have to see to appreciate.
Whether you're building gifts for friends, stocking up for an auction, or just want a fun morning of crafting with zero pressure, this session gives you at least five projects you can start with supplies you probably already own.
